I saw you posts on the TinyMCE forum and i was wondering if you got the syntaxhighlighter to work properlly with TinyMCE. If so, could you please help me do the same?

sorry for the delay. No, I was not looking into it any further.
So busy with other things... ;-)

The syntax highlighter does work in this blog's editor.
But not as I would like it to work. I'd like to be able to see
the highlighted text already in tiny mce, not only later when the
post is displayed.
